NEWS
- The second round of recruitment for the Doctors' e-Cohort Study has now closed. Thanks to all students enrolled in Year 1 of the MBBS program at The University of Queensland who joined the study this year.
- The Doctors' e-Cohort Study went live in April 2008 and Survey 1 closed in August 2009. The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), Medical Board of Queensland and various registration bodies in Australia greatly assisted us with recruitment. The 2008/2009 cohort has over 1800 participants from a variety of medical backgrounds. Approximately half of this cohort are medical students.
PROJECT FUNDING
- Receipt of more than $300,000 over five years as part of the Linkage Grant scheme administered by the Australian Research Council has provided the funds to establish the Doctors' e-Cohort Study. Queensland Health has committed $50,000 per annum for five years and will also support a PhD scholarship for the study. The study is also fortunate enough to have the in-kind support of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
- If you would like to become involved in the Doctors' e-Cohort Study as a sponsor, please contact the Study Project Manager, Denise and put "potential sponsor" in the subject header
