POTENTIAL PARTICIPANTS

Recruitment Wave 1 for doctors and medical students in Australia occurred between April 2008 and August 2009.
Recruitment Wave 2 for students enrolled in Year 1 of the MBBS program at The University of Queensland was open from January-April 2010.
The study uses electronic methods to collect data and participants become part of an 'e-cohort' upon registration. We keep in contact with participants via email. We send an occasional email to remind participants about the survey and to check the currency of their contact details.
Participants are asked to keep their email address and other contact details up to date by logging into their personal profile page on the study website. They provide their medical registration number / student number upon registration, solely as a means of preventing persons who are not medical practitioners or medical students from completing the questionnaire. This information remains totally confidential and is not used for any purpose other than to check legitimacy of study participants.
We are still interested in participants who leave the medical workforce or their university studies, either temporarily or permanently, and we value their ongoing participation.
