POTENTIAL PARTICIPANTS
If you are currently registered as a medical practitioner or intern in Australia, or enrolled as a medical student at an Australian University, you are eligible to participate in the study.
If you are a doctor wishing to register and become a participant in the study, we ask you to have ready your current medical registration number and a current email address.
If you are a medical student wishing to register we ask you to have ready your current student number and a current email address.
The study uses electronic methods to collect data. When you register to join us, you will be part of an 'e-cohort'. So that we can keep in contact with you, we ask that you provide us with an email address as your primary contact. We will also send an occasional email to remind you about your survey and to check the currency of your email address.
As a participant of the Doctors' e-cohort Study, you can keep your email address and other contact details up to date by logging into your personal profile page on the study website. We also ask your medical registration number / student number solely as a means of preventing persons who are not medical practitioners or medical students from completing the questionnaire. This information will remain totally confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than to check legitimacy of study participants.
If you leave the medical profession or your university studies, either temporarily or permanently, we are still interested in you and we would value your continued participation.
